The Bible employs a rich vocabulary to describe ceramic pots, dishes, jars, and other vessels; Hebrew has roughly three times as many such words as English. Knowing what specific vessel a term describes not only deepens our understanding of the Scriptural text, but also leads to increased spiritual insight as we see why the prophet or parable-teller chose a particular term. Come join us as Dr. Dale Liid explores this fascinating topic.
